Through a number of events, which involved the Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, a Champagne toast at their New York boutique, and an outdoors special event in Palm Beach, Piaget released their spring-themed Limelight Garden Party collection.
In N . Y ., the Piaget boutique on 5th Avenue took on a terrarium search for the evening's event, with all the collection set in cases embellished to resemble a wooden nymph's jewelry box.

A miniscule, diamond encrusted bird perched alone on a ring, apparently willing to plunge its beak into a cushion cut rubellite gem. Additional birds perched on a white gold spring of diamonds and pearls, at the same time a floral ring bloomed diamonds, emeralds and pink sapphires. One necklace's 289 brilliant cut diamonds appears to symbolize drops of dew captured over a diaphanous spider web. One more popped up herbal bud of pink tourmaline and pink sapphires, reminders of spring.
